i2i—Insight to Impact—is the Alliance’s education and consulting social enterprise, specifically focused on helping organizations integrate lived-experience perspectives into their work, meaningfully and ethically. The work of i2i is grounded in the expertise of the Alliance’s Expert Steering Team (EST), a staff team of housing and homelessness professionals who have personally experienced homelessness.
Through consultations, training, facilitated discussions, research partnerships, and practical resources, we help organizations improve their policies, programs, and approaches to lived experience engagement. We work with non-profits, businesses, governments, and educational institutions to ensure that people affected by homelessness and poverty can meaningfully influence the decisions that affect them.
